Vanessa Hidell - President
Thank you so much for visiting our site! Our team works hard and I am so blessed to be able to work with such an outstanding group!
While I have been in sales for over 35 years; from selling service award programs, promo items to personnel services, I found my calling after a corporate lay off in 2011. In 2012, I obtained my insurance license and began helping others understand and navigate Medicare, the crazy Healthcare industry and especially Health Care Reform and how it impacts businesses.
More recently, our company invested in a virtual office platform, staff, and technology to help our clients and their employees in 2018 and 2019. We saw a big shift in 2020 and we were ahead of the game with our technology. We have been able to hold our market share and increase it annually by almost 25% mainly due to our technology and our incredible administration and customer service team.
I was born in Austin, Texas and took a 30-year respite and lived in Fort Worth, TX. I have two children and 3 grandchildren with one on the way. I moved to the Hill Country in the fall of 2019. My husband and I built our forever home on Lake Buchanan. We enjoy fishing, swimming and anything lake related. We also are avid watchers of the Food Network, HGTV, Fox News and Discovery Channel.

Niki Evans - Vice President
I have been part of the Tag 2 Benefits team since January 2018. I started as an administrative assistant and quickly recognized the impact our work has on the lives of our clients and their employees. What began as a fun assistant role quickly turned into a meaningful, full-fledged career. That experience inspired me to earn my insurance license and transition into sales, where I could build stronger relationships with clients and become a true partner in helping them navigate employee benefits, while also building a career that allows me to support my family and serve others in a lasting way.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been seeing firsthand how the right benefits can make a real difference for employees and their families. As the importance of competitive benefit packages continues to grow, I enjoy helping businesses find solutions that fit their needs and support their teams. The evolution of our online platforms and virtual office has also made it easier than ever for us to provide efficient, personalized service to our clients. My faith is an important foundation in my life, guiding how I show up for others, the way I serve clients, and the gratitude I carry into both my personal and professional life.
I am a native Texan and grew up in the DFW area. I love sports (Boomer Sooner), working out, and eating good food with my family! I proudly share my life with my amazing husband, Cain, and our two beautiful daughters, Hallie (born January 2022) and Clara (born March 2024). I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I've had with Tag 2 Benefits and look forward to continuing to grow alongside our clients and team in the years ahead.

My name is Emerald McKinney, and I have been working with Tag 2 Benefits since January 2020.
I am a Benefit Specialist who takes care of our clients during enrollment season while also engaging with future employers to help with their Group Benefit needs in the San Antonio market, as well as DFW and the Hill Country.
Tag 2 is my second family, and we love to represent that foundation effect with our clients. We are always here to support and give feedback when necessary.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, and I enjoy taking long walks with my husband, Kyle. We welcomed our baby girl this November 2023.
When I'm not working, I love watching Food Network to get inspiration for the next meal I should make for my family.

As Tag 2’s newest team member, joining in July 2024, I’m excited to be part of a company that is truly passionate about simplifying benefits and making the process easier for both employers and employees. I love working with Tag 2 Benefits and seeing firsthand how the team builds strong relationships, provides clear guidance, and helps take the stress out of benefits administration.
Originally from Michigan, I’ve called Texas home for the past 18 years. I’m blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren who bring so much joy to my life. I enjoy staying active by walking, growing in my faith through Bible study, and unwinding with a great TV show. Fall is my favorite time of year, although Texas winters are about as close as we get!
I love spending time with family, making memories, and appreciating the everyday blessings around me.

Hi, my name is Samantha Skiff and I have worked with Tag 2 Benefits since October of 2014. Being the first employee, I have been able to watch this company grow and have held every role in the company.
Currently I separate bills for one client that has over 55 locations and invoice each location, as well as assist with COBRA enrollments and billing.
I am a born and raised Texan and have been married for 35 years to my high school sweetheart. I have two children and three grandchildren. We have lived in Fort Worth, San Antonio, Odessa and now are building our dream/retirement home in Alpine Texas. I also love the outdoors, reading and hanging out my amazing husband!
